We are not born with all of "the Skills for Life" we either learn them for ourselves or a taught them. Here at Aquila Outdoor Adventure we believe in passing on those life long learnt skills, before those skills disappear into the history books or they fall into the digital abyss.

You have the national qualifications, but maybe not the skills and confidence to run a group session.

Join us to build your skills and confidence in managing groups! We’ll equip you with the tools to handle risks, manage behavior, and tackle the “what happens if” scenarios. Our supportive environment will help you think on your feet and lead with assurance. Let’s unlock your potential together!

Learning to facilitate means developing the skills to guide and support people through a learning process. Facilitators help learners take ownership of their learning by providing resources and encouraging them to work together to solve problems. They help to guide, support and encourage the people in their group.

All activities are land based,

ie. Walking, climbing, bushcraft, weaseling, orienteering, team building, survival skills, etc.

Building on your skills" means actively working to improve and develop your existing abilities, often by taking on new challenges, learning additional knowledge, or practicing techniques to become more proficient in a particular area, essentially taking your current skill level to a higher standard.
